multiple types of cardinals in one tank

Do cardinals do well when mixed. I've had a mated pair of glass cardinals and a mated pair of orange stripe cardinals but both at different times. I'd be interested in getting a pair of each again but will they be ok in the same tank?

I have a pair of banggai and a pair of pyjama cardinals in my tank. They don't really mingle, just keep to themselves.

Mtiple species will be fine together, though it really depends on the species whether they will mix. I have found orange stripes and margaritas will mix, whereas blue eyes and pj's keep to themselves.

I have bangai and longspine/orange striped(however they're called) together. Completely ignore each other.
