Murder mystery question

My 60 gallon tank was a home for a blood shrimp and a cleaner shrimp that were purchased together and introduced to the tank at the same time. About a week ago the cleaner was gone. So I purchased another one. I woke up and checked the tank to find the tail of the new cleaner shrimp gone. He was barely alive and the other fish were nipping at it. I only had him 4 days.

I have 2 clowns, yellow watchman goby, 1 four line wrasse, 1 red serpent star, 1 crocea clam, and 1 blood shrimp. I also have snails and hermit crabs. So, who did it?

I am guessing it could be the blood shrimp? I thought they were supposed to be peaceful as long as you didn't get the same type. I really like the shrimp and want to get another type since the cleaner shrimp won't work. Any suggestions or should I just forget it? (I have 60 to 65 pounds of live rock, not sure if that would make a difference of not)

Any advice/suggestions would be great.
Thanks!
Beth

shrimp

My LFS told me not to mix those shrimp together that one of the two will kill the other, and also if the shrimp molts its shell then on of your fish could have killed it just make sure that the shrimp have plenty of hidding places so they can hide until there shell hardens.

NOT the blood shrimp... I kept a pair of each in a 55 ( skunk, blood, a whole bunch of peps ) they stayed on their own sides of the tank.

What killed my skunks was other fish during the time they were molting which is the only time their defenseless. 2 of my blue lobster ate them.

I've seen places were both species were kept in the same tanks with no problems at all.
