Muriatic Acid

Need to do a water changes and the ALK is off the charts and needs Muriatic or something else to get it with in parameters. Is it safe to use this acid? What else can i use?

I think vinegar is used more commonly. There are a ton of posts in the general forums on how to use it.

No problem. I bought 2 gallons from Home Depot 5 or 6 years ago and am about 1/4 of the way into the second gallon. A little goes a long way. I'm too impatient with vinegar when it comes to cleaning.
