Mushroom bonanza!

I realize that mushrooms are easy corals, and often overlooked by reefkeepers. But, I think that they can add a lot to the look of a mixed reef tank.
About two years ago I added a piece of LR to my 75 that had a single hitch-hiker spotted mushroom on it.
Here's a section of the rock now.

I took a rock that had half a dozen or more of these guys on it to Yoda the other day. I've had similar results with some bright green mushrooms that Harry gave me awhile back.
Just wanted to share

I agree with you, I think they make a nice addition to a tank. The few green striped ones I have, they open up really large, but i havent been able to get them to split yet

IME shrooms don't really split unless you cut them but you won't really know if the cuttings with heal up or not. The way I've propped shrooms is to shade them. Everytime they move they leave a stump that grows into a new shroom. This method take a little longer than cutting but has worked everytime. From one shroom I have gotten six new ones in about month.
