Mushroom coral pulled under rocks

Need advice, put a small mushroom coral in my tank yesterday. Smaller guy about a quarter in diameter. Problem is my peppermint shrimp pulled Him under my rocks and there's know way I'm taking all my rocks out to get him. I can see the mushroom down a darker hole at the bottom of my tank. What should I do? He looks ok, kinda shriveled up right now but not dead. Any ideas?

That happened to me before and i took a tiny net and pulled him out......another thing you could use is maybe tweezers

I was able to get him with a small net. Thanks for the advise. I have him resting on a rock right now. He seems to have folded out a little. I have my power heads off for the moment so he doesnt go flying around. How long can I have my power heads off before my coral are effected?

Does the mushroom have any rubble attached to its foot? If so, just tack it to your liverock with some gel superglue (any cyanoacrylicate will work) for the time being so it doesnt blow around the tank. Or if you have enough room for a small container, put it in that with a mesh net over the top so it stays contained until you figure out what to do with it.

It didnt have any rubber on it. I took a weak rubber band (just strong enough to hold the shroom down) and strapped him upright to a small rock and put him at the bottom of the tank. Seems to be working.
