Mushroom eater

I'm looking for a fish that will keep fuzzy mushrooms in check. These things are slowly killing off the SPS corals in my tank.

my dogface puffer LOVES mushrooms, did not bother other corals, though I didn't have SPS in the tank. :)

I would pay a small fortune for a fish that will eat mushrooms the way my tangs and angels eat algae.

The mushroom population in my tank has simply exploded in the last year since I redid the aquascape. I guess redoing the rockwork dispersed the damn things around the tank and they are EVERYWHERE.

im sure there would be a nudibranch species for eating mushrooms, there seems to be one for everything else. maybe have a little research, be interesting to know. unfortunatly a lot of people start off with mushrooms due to them being fairly easy to look after! i had the same issue with a mushroom colony that spread into my green caulastrea and killed off several heads. :(
i literally just got a blade and scraped the off the rock, though the small amount of tissue left behind grew back into more mushrooms, but it at least gave the other corals a break from being attacked.

My blueface mows them down like weeds. I started with about a 100 or more
& I'm down to about only a dozen or so left. He ate all of the green ones first
& then moved on to the orange ones. All that's left are the blue ones now &
they are very small from his tasting them. I do feed my tank very well so I know
he's not starving. This blueface is very strange because it rarely ever eats frozen
food. It prefers pellets & nori.
