whats the best and Easiest way to frag shrooms..... Ive read

cutting the tip off and slight piece of the stalk glue it to a rock in a low flow area nd watch it grow in about 3 weeks. Then cut the stalk in half.

Do I have this right? or is there a better way?

basically you have it right, but glue might not work(its to much work) all you have to do it get a couple of those little small rubberbands. thay will work well, I did mines like that, and now they are everywhere! Thanks

P.S. PM if you need some Mushroom Frags, I have thousands of cools flourecents green fuzzy shrooms!

I just throw them in my fuge w/ some LR rubble.
They attach to a piece of rubble within about a week.
I used to do this in my display in strawberry or blueberry baskets.

just cut the stem then place the top in low flow it will stick in a day or to and the stem will grow a new head in around a week

I dont think it will stay, they like to move if something is on them if the cut is healed it will be harder to get it to stick

Put small chunks of rubble next to them in the display and let them do it themselves. Here is my tank unfragged, just natural reproduction. And this is with my old lights.

I quarter them up with a razor blade. Kind of like slicing a pizza, across one way and then the other.

I then take the pieces and place them on a homeade frag disc and cover with bridal veil and rubber band underneath. Works great! Almost as good as thier own natural reproduction...LOL!

BTW: As far as making some frag disc, I placed some sand in round dish and then added some liquid super glue. Works great! All these ideas came from an Eric Borneman video on fragging...

i just cut them in half and they will move to grow out works for me and if you want them on another rock just put a small piece next to them and they move onto it

When everything in the tank is "RIGHT" , they will border on becoming a pest. Look at "Avshockey's" tank....

Fragging a mushroom is something you do when you want a certain one on a certain piece of rock. If you just want more of them, concentrate on chemistry and let nature do her thing.
