mushroom health

I have 3 types of mushrooms in my tank bullseye, hairy, and striped. I've had these for a year now and the seem to be "just staying alive". When I first got them they seemed to thrive and split (for the first month or two) then they shrunk down a little and have not grown at all. My water parameters are perfect but my temp is a little high. My tank is 24" deep and I have 2-250 watt MH and 4-54 watt t5's. Ive tried to move them from top to bottom but haven't seen much change.

How high is "too high"?
What other corals do you have, and how are they doing?

Your tank could either be TOO dirty, or TOO clean.
From what I know, shrooms absorb nutrients directly from the wtaer column.

I don't think it is the lights b/c I have a 250w XM10k (TONS of Par) 80w of actinic T5's, and 200w of mixed blue PC's on a 70G that is 30in deep, but I have shrooms on the bottom, middle, and near the top. Oh, and my shrooms multiply like crazy.

I just retested my phosphate and there is some detected. I'll throw in some phosguard and see if that helps. My temp has been at 86 degrees.

This new light fixture I bought is making my tank too hot I think. I have a 120 gal. thats 24" deep. I didn't think I would need a chiller with 2-250 watt MH. I think I'll try moving my sump in the basement maybe that will help.
