Picked up for a few bucks at the lfs. They didn't know the actual name. I glued the dime size rock it was on to that rock rubble. At the store it was a little more flat and broader. Is this a sign that it is not happy? It also is in an area that gets some direct flow. There is a korila nano pump above it closer to the top of the tank. And another on the opposite side of the tank. The pumps push towards themselves.

I think I have the same one but kinda hard to tell when its closed up like that. Mine was sold as Mint Choc Chip Mushroom.

They like lower light and flow. They will curl up like that or let go if unhappy.

Heres mine a while back.

My experience is that if their skirt is blowing around on rics/mushrooms then it's too much flow. Usually if its out in the open I will sandwich them in between 2 rocks or put them in a divot. They can usually handle your typical light but if they get too much flow they will either shrink or let go and attach somewhere else.

Mushroom ID ? Healthy/Happy ?

Should I move this thread?

I would hate to loose this guy. I want to
Make him happy. Water parameters are excellent.

I wouldn't worry too much :) Mushies are almost indestructible. I'd leave him where he is for now to give him chance to settle in to his new location.

Sorry for the late reply. That bubble is his foot that he uses to attach to the rock. He could be ready to let go. Leave him be for a while (~1 week) and he should come round on his own. If he does let go, just keep an eye on him and let it find somewhere it likes. You could then relocate him.

Hey no problem I posted again. Is it possible I have too much flow for shrooms to do well?
