So I'm kind of having a problem with mushrooms dieing. I have checked all my parameters and everything is good. nothing else seems to be dieing just the mushrooms. what kind of light should the get direct, indirect, closer to the bottom top any ideas??

What kind of shrooms are not doing good in your tank? rics?

What are your actual paramter readings?

What type of lights do you have and tank?

I have noticed in my system (90 gal with 6 54watt t5 sunpower) mushrooms only do well in the lower regions with indirect light. They would shrivel under the higher intensity light in my tank.

I have 6x54w t5s on a 24" deep tank and have yumas in the low part, almost sand... And I have some red shrooms in the higher part of the tank, the red one does shrivel sometimes but it's reproducing so I guess it's ok

In general I place shrooms on the bottom half of my tank. If they are shriveling then they are receiving too much light IMO. Shrooms in general are low light animals that can be slowly acclimated to accept more light by slowly moving them up in the tank over a couple of months.
