Also, an update: I now have a white fungus in the tank. I have added charcoal and bio-spiro to help it cycle. I asked Bob F if he thought the white fungus was a cause, or an effect of all the mayhem ensuing in the tank right now. He thinks the latter.
He didn't think it was a spawning event.
