Mushroom next to green star polyps?

If I place mushrooms next to a colony of GSPs, would the GSPs take over?

THey're both potent stingers, even though they don't look like it.

I just realized that I posted in the wrong forum. My mistake.

Does that mean that they will hold each other off?

No, they will fight to the death, literally. Eventually one will die. I would give them ample room and make sure those GSP stay confined. They can grow out of control and end up killing a lot of stuff.

THey do sting.. I had a rhodactis shrooms took out a couple heads of trumpets to the skeleton.
