Mushroom splitting

I finally got my first mushroom, which is around 5 days ago. Its a green mushroom, and It has been doing good. But today it looks a bit curled up. It almost looks like its splitting. there is a dent on one side and another dent on the opposite end. it looks like a flower shape. Is that what splitting looks like? Still bright green, and I also directly fed it some NLS a couple days ago. I did recently clean the tank yesterday, and maybe disturbed it a little. I will check water pramams just in case. Fish, cleaner shrimp, and all the snails look happy. Since mushrooms are really tough, I hope its nothing.

wait a minute....never mind. I did feed the fish some Mysis like 3 hours ago. Must of caught some. I think is just digesting.:bigeyes:

That is correct. Mine did the same thing and I was like "what the heck!?" Then realized it only was digesting the food I fed it.

discomas move and leave a little bit of the foot behind which grows into a new shroom. rhodactis literally rip in half when they reproduce- violent looking but harmless.
