mushrooms won't grow

I've had some green stripped mushrooms for a few months, and a fuzzy mushroom, but they havn't grown or spread or anything one mushroom has moved on the rock, but what could be some reasons the havn't grown.

I believe different mushrooms have different growth rates. I've some green frilly mushrooms that will split every few months. I've also got a red frilly mushroom that hasn't shown any growth or splitting in the 8 months its been in my tank. On the other hand, I've got some blue mushrooms that split or sprout babys every week!!

I have a green stripe and it seems to grow slower than the blues. Sometimes a coral won't grow for a long time and will suddenly explode with growth. I think some corals take a while to acclimate to a particular tank.

ok, so should I just pick a spot and leave it there. also is there anything that will assist on growth like zooplankton or something.

Consider yourself lucky...

thats funny because i hve green striped shrooms and i see new babys everyweek but i cannot get my blue shrooms to multiply for the life of me.

my blue and red mushrooms are doing well in my nano tank, on avg 2-3 babies a month

but after transfering to my bigger tank, they stop multiplying :(

+1
congrats on developing a way to slow the plague

You could also feed them with a little bit of shrimp, they will slowly close when you put the shrimp on top of their mouths.
