Will mushrooms survive in a cycling tank with high ammonia and nitrite? thanks

Would not recommend putting them in right now, I have heard of hitchhiking mushrooms surviving the cycle though.

Just wait until the tank is cycled to add livestock.

Also dont try to cycle your tank with any other livestock. It doesnt work.
