How to get my mushrooms to stay in place any ideas?

You can cover them with bridal veil or a fine mesh using rubber bands to hold the mesh on the rock. After a couple of weeks you can then remove the mesh.

If you're asking because they keep detaching then your alkalinity is probably low...

I put a plastic bowl in the tank with some rubble Rock in it and set the mushrooms I frag in there. After a few weeks they attach to a piece of rock then a epoxy the rock where I want it in the tank.

Ya either what the grun said or toby, for the plastic bowl, use the kind you would get at a grocery store to pick out your own salad toppings, ect.

I wouldn't prevent him from "finding the spot he likes" because that's what he's doing. Don't fence in the wild shroom man. Let the shroom free range.

I sometimes use a needle to hold them down.
Used to have a green one that turned into 5 in no time, and was always flying away.
Ended up selling the rock and I am out of shrooms.
