has anyone used this? how were your results? any problems? the price and simplicity are the most enticing aspects.

I've used those for years, maybe 7-8 at least. Just keep it dry and it should last a real long time. Most powerheads I've hooked to the unit is two MJ 1200 without problems. They say one per timer but... your milage may vary.

cool thanks. does it mount directly to the power strip or does it have a cord so that it wont block other outlets?

Plug is on the back and no cord.

Check the plug into the wavemaker. The two I have have a two prong plug that will not take two prong grounded plugs. Usually Maxijets work ok because they don't have the one big prong and one little.
I plug mine into an short extention cord so it doesn't take up so much room on the strip.

MJ's are the only thing I ever put on a wave timer. Any others I've tried have a real short life if asked to start and stop like this.

I have used two powerheads on one MVT but I can't find any extention cords or adapters that will fit into the MVT's plug these days.
