I have two latz that i purchased as babies a year ago. They have grown fast and are now about 3" long and fat. However in the last week the one that is hosted by a RbTA has stopped showing interest in any food. Just stays in his nem, he moves around and seems energetic but doesn't eat. One this I did notice is that in anal fin and lower tail look a little frayed. I feed a mix of flake, dehydraded mysis, and pellet with two feeding per week of frozen mysis. Thanks for your help.

Getting picked on by the other?

When my started to show who was who, the male was bullied out of eating for a bit.

All good now though.

I don't think he is getting picked on. The clownfish have not paired and stay in their nems. He acts normal, has no outward signs of disease other that then slightly frayed fins.

With my spawning Onyx, I know that my male do not venture out from the anemone/eggs when they are with a nest of eggs, even to eat. He only eat what ever flow by the nest.

I have to pairs of mccullochi with the dominant(will turn female) fish always stay in the bta and venture to eat or chase other fish away. Not sure why yours won't eat. Try using a turkey baster and target feed. All my clowns love to eat out of the turkey baster. If it still doesn't eat try different food... I personally make my own food but now I found LRS fish frenzy and they love this stuff... Try making your own food out of fresh seafood etc. good luck

I actually think I have 2 females, they don't interact with each other at all. I'll try to target feed today. Thanks

Could be problem with flake/dry pellets. I lost one this way. I first thought it was intestinal disease of some sorts but honestly I think it was constipation. Now I only stick with frozen foods. No issues.
