MY 10 gal, first step in to the SW world.

Hey guys

This is my first foray into the SW world after doing FWE for a lot of years. The idea is to start small (Influced by all the nano craze on the forums)

Idea is to build one with remote deep sand bed remote but having some to housse certain things. Also since the tank is small, most rocks will be kept in a refugium which will house everything minus the PH's.

Orbit 2 by 65wat PC fixture
Maxijet 900 PH
Jagr 100watt heater
CPR HOB skimmer
AC50 modded to provide flow to refugium

So far there is 4 frags of misc zoanthids, a Condy Anenome, Tiger pistol shrimp and Watchman Gobie pair, candycane Corral, CUC,And "boner" the sponge.

The fuge has a cutout and an AC 50 is glued in for drawing water.

Looks really good. Keep an eye on that anenome...it's probably going to get much to big for you tank over time.

How do you like that CPR skimmer? Is it a bakpak? I was thinking about getting one to put onto the AC300 I have on the back of my 10g...if it will fit that is.

Howdy jimmy

That CPR bakpak works perfect once you get the height set so it pulls bubbles but no too much liquids. I saw a few of these in person before getting one my self. That Zip tie on there is what I use to set the height of the collection cup.
