My 100g SPS Tank (at beginning) - desire many advices.

Thanks, inputs.

SPS(from Fiji) of 5th pic was very deep violet.
This SPS became between light color at month.
And, all corals is very slow growth.
I'm going to add 6000Ks bulbs(2ea) to advice. :)
any advice?

Corals look excellent.

You should drop some of the 2 or 3 of the aquablues for a couple of blue plus and a sun bulb...i think this wil help you greatly.

Also....PATIENCE....after you change bulbs give it some time...6 months..or if you dont change bulbs i think over time they WILL COLOR UP EVEN MORE...but right now they look very good and healthy

I SEE where you say a couple are washed out...a couple are perfect though...you are DEFINITELY NOT UNSUCCESSFUL WITH SPS...good work

also... I think that growth and color are a "give and take" kind of situation....if you work on one it may drain a part of the other.

IME SPS grow more quickly under kelvin..color temperature...of 6K-10K but their colors arent as good...

color improves with a more blue spectrum(this is my perception) but dont grow as fast...you have to find a "HAPPY MEDIUM"---- a point between the two where you like best

you arent gonna get crazy good growth and crazy color....some people overexaggerate the two and this may be leaving you with crazy expectations

thanks, Serioussnaps.

I ordered ATI Sunpro bulbs(39w 2ea) already.
I'll work to your advice.
Growth desires that is improved by this work.
However, is not problem of coral's color(5th pic) solved still?

On the 5th coral...move it down a few inches and make sure it has good flow....

Dont forget i recommend dropping AQUABLUES for the BLUE PLUS's(2 of them) and only 1 SUNPRO...but the SUNPROS WILL GIVE A LITTLE BETTER GROWTH OVER THE NEXT YEAR BUT THEY LOOK YELLOW SO YOU HAVE TO GET MORE BLUE PLUS IN THERE OR IT WILL LOOK YELLOW

the 5th pic's polyps are even white and the base looks to be a washed out pink...i bet it is under lots of aquablues....move it down

Feed some DT's oyster eggs if you can get them...twice a week with skimmer off for 4-6 hours...i swear by it
