My 115G Cornertank

Im new here so here i will present my 115 Gallon Corner reeftank.

It´s a low-tech tank

Skimmer = Tunze 3115
Light = T5 6x39W
Flow = 4500 L/H (Total)
Live rock 35Kg

1 Gobiodon okinawe
1 Nemateleotris decora
1 Ptereleotris evides
1 Pseudocheilinus hexataenia
1 Oxycirrhites typus
1 Zebrasoma flavescens

Very nice tank, It looks so clean. Do you have any plans for adding more corals?

Im going to get some LPS corals like Caulastrea furcata, Trachyphyllia geoffroyi, Euphyllia and Fungia maby not all sorts but some of these.

The sand is just added in the foto but it is still this clean and white

I have a lot of makroalge in the picture most of it is gone now.

looks nice, i wonder if more flow is needed at the surface though, great tank well done

The flow on the surface is a little more now, then on the picture, i have raised the pumps closer to the surface.

I got i Fluval surface run-off that is connected to a maxi jet pump.

I am going to take some new fotos in a few days thou, i have gotten som new soft corals.

Yes but it is empty! I am going to put some carbon and Rowaphos in socks there later.

Im adding 5-6 Chromis cyaneus and some LPS in a month or so.

Think that will do the tank more colorful

Looks great now but I liked it better with all of the macro algae. With the openness of the rocks it looked lagoon like

what make of corner tank is that, mine is a jewel trigon 350, it looks similar to yours

I think it is a aquael 450L i bought it secondhand so.

a 450 is a lovely size, id love abigger tank myself, however im limited to space hence the corner tank, over here jewel tanks are everywhere, ive heard of larger corners being available but never seen 1,

Yeah this is the best tank i ever had

Now it needs to be filled with fish and LPS

after looking at your lovely tank again i have another question, how do you keep your sand so clean, mine is clean but not clean like yours

I keep my sand nice and clean by having an RO unit and a sandshifter gobie, hermit crabs and sera nitrivec
