My 115G Cornertank

if you look at mine it looks grubby, it is clear, however not spotlessly clean, i too use ro-di and have a lot of cuc, but it still looks grubby, usually i stir it very gently and then it looks fine for acouple of days but just does not ever look crisp and white like yours

ok, but you have a lot of pink coralline in your sand is that correct?

And you have bigger sandcross then i do. i have 0-3mm

Your tank is awesome!!
 
well yes i have alot of corraline, but i would have thought the sand would stay clear if gently moved every time i water change, thanks for the comments by the way, yours is awsome too
 
It has to be moved often for the sand to stay white and clean but i like yours to seems more natural.

heres a pic of the corraline, tbo 1 of the actinics is on as well as the white tubes so its not quite this purple but yes its quite purple, i will try to get a sand sifter to help
 
Okey, now i have installed the new lighting for the tank and i am very satisfied how the tank now looks, i will add a pic later on.
