Got most of my plumbing picked up today, this is the BeanAnimal overflow.

What are you guys doing for the back panels are far as being able to see thru it? I hate being able to see the plumbing, lol. I guess the two options are painting it or some type of self adhesive vinyl?

There is a vinyl tank backing that marine depot sells called watercolor it is what i used on my tank works really well

Sounds cool. Wish I would have used this Traditional backing and water only goes so far (damn air bubbles!)

Ending up just using window tint from HD, my back panel is already tinted a bit so now it's pretty dark. Hopefully you won't be able to see any air bubbles, lol.

Got the guts of my lighting put together, I didn't realize just how big this thing was gnna be, lol. Almost wish I had gone with 36" instead of 48"! Still need to wire everything up and get the housing built and it's good to go.

Cree XR-E's all around, split between cool white and royal blue

Yeah Bryan, 3 strips for now. I figure I can always pull one of the T5's and throw another LED strip in there down the road if I want.

You mght want to get black pvc for your overflow plumbing or something it really stands out with the lights on. Matter of fact i have some 3/8 balck acrilcy that has wiers cnc laser cut into it already that might just rock in there. Let me know its your if you need it.

Yeah, I have the grey SCH80 stuff for the overflow, I just haven't swapped them out yet. I have the fittings, just can't find any 1" pipe at HD or Lowes

I like the look of the tank. Where did you get the poles for the lights? What type of wood did you use for the stand? I picked up a 40br and need some ideas about the type of wood to use for making a stand.
