its lookin good. the blue milli is looking well also. As far as the red algae goes, no worries. It definitely doesnt like the bright light as it looks to be retreating.

Shhh, I told my wife those were always there!

I will try to get some pics. I bumped the table the camera was on and think I accidentally knocked it in the garbage :( Gonna have to run out and get an el cheapo one for now.

Thanks Monti

Disaster averted. Found the camera.

Do these look familiar Sean? They are still a bit stressed but settling in nicely. I actually hoped my clowns would take a bit longer and give the anemone time to acclimate. Not a chance, took them 20min.

More equipment updates. Hopefully now I can concentrate on getting more livestock :)

Swapped out my former Lumenbright reflectors for the mini's. They now fully recess into the hood and are mounted at the proper height (~14" off the water). Also, swapped out the VHOs for a center halide with lumenarc mini reflector.

Wow, that's some awesome chaeto growth. Are those NO fluorescents over the fuge? If so, what bulbs are you running and where did you get them? Thanks.

I am currently running 2 refugiums, 1 one in my sump with high flow going through it and the other with significantly reduced flow. The fuge in my sump has a Lights of America 6500K daylight bulb from HD. The fuge has a normal 4' workshop light with 2 NO 6500K daylight bulbs (again from HD).

Although I am getting good growth in both, the remote fuge with slow flow and more light grows about 3-5x faster.

Last night was a busy night. Sean (Discoreefrover) came over and cut out the center brace that was driving me mad. Special thanks again for putting up with my neurotic self. It was a little hairy for a minute or two and a couple lessons learned. However, in the end it worked out well.

Tank with the center brace in. I played with the contrast to show the shadow.

I want to thank Dan (Purplereef) for the hook up. To follow are some pics of the awesome frags. Also, thanks much for the bulbs. They are killer!
