heres the sump and refugium

water comes in on the far right of the sump. have a euro reef skimmer in there and will probably have rock rubble in there.

have a Rio hyperflow 32 return pump (1920GPH) which is split(both sides have ball valves). one side goes back to the tank and the other side feeds into the 30 gallon refugium (on the far left of the stand)..... refugium is drilled and will overflow back into the sump.

I agree with everyone else, the stand setup is great. Your dad apparently has some mad woodworking skills. Lucky you. I like the sweetlips you've got in there. I've always wanted one, but don't have the room. What else are you planning to stock the tank with? How about a nice Australian Tuskfish? Just a suggestion.

As above the stand looks fantastic.
Copperbands can be very tricky, normally they are better added to a mature tank IMO and even then they can be difficult to get feeding.

i made sure it was eating frozen food at the store.

fed the tank about 20 min ago and he ate as well

Can you show more pictures of your sump and refugium with water flowing and also detail the plumbing? I'm looking to do basically the same thing with my 180, connecting a refugium to my 40B sump that is already plumbed.

Thank you!
