I wanted to go with a 180 but ended up with a 120 and now looks like a 400 is the next step keep the pics coming of the build

Nice light. Really like it. Do you think 12 bulbs will be enough? Roger has 8 over a 4' tank so I was thinking I needed 16 on mine to cover. Since I know very little about T5s I am just asking. Also didnt you have LEDs on your 120? I have LEDs on everything but it seems almost every really really nice tank I see has MH or T5s. Thats why i am jumping ship on my new build. I really hate to because I know there are some super nice systems with LEDs but they are so dam hard to get dialed in that T5s just make it simple. I like simple!!!!

I switch to t5 about 6 months ago. I love the look of t5 much better. As far as number of bulbs. Yes it should be enough. If not I might add led strips

Hey Matt I have a green Haddoni on my sand bed along with a maxima clam and they both did fine under that light.. Also Roger has almost too much light over his frag tank for some corals. He said he had zoas melting because the par was too much

Thx but that 1 dosnt have individual reflectors so it's more like a 4 bulb in power

Stand is looking solid. I can't wait to start my upgrade. I wish there was great money building stands and setting up tanks. I'd do it all day for a living.
