My 187g Reef Tank Build in Progress

First of all, I want to preface this with pics of my current 24g nanocube. I've had so many good times, (not all good :( ) enjoying this tank, and I think it's time to move up.

The livestock right now:
Paired Black Occelaris Clowns
Yellow Watchman Goby
Two Triphociotus spelling
bicolored blenny (not shown)
Fireshrimp, which ate my two cleaners
Emerald Crab
Tiger Pistol Shrimp
and lots of cleanup crews
And yes, I know the bioload is heavy  . bi monthly water changes, a daily dose of PurpleUp, and not overfeeding solves this problem for me

And a short video

Now my new tank that I purchased two weeks ago, which its dimensions are 60"L x 24" W x 30" Deep. Pictures of the ad, some of you may recognize it :D

I donated the awesome zebra morrey that was 3' long, and the sting ray to a friends tank. They weren't reef friendly, and I was too scared to move stuff around with the sting ray

Pics of the tank, in my condo awaiting my move 10/15.

The tank is acrylic, and needs some attention for that flawless look. It also has an interesting setup for the filtration. There is no sump, just an acrylic back panel that is sort of like my nano cube, with the liverock piled in there, and pumps mounted as well. I'd like to remove this whole setup, and go with a sump within the stand. Another interesting subject is the skimmer. It's a Red Sea Berlin Hang On style. The website says it's rated at 250g, but it looks rather small... anyone have any info on this skimmer?

I already purchased a new light fixture, and a chiller that I'll take pics of later on tonight or tomorrow, just for a teaser :D

EDIT: Sorry about the sideways skimmer, anyone know how to fix that on photobucket?

a nice upgrade in size. The fish will be happy to have all the swimming room in the world after that 24g.

I would get rid of that skimmer and upgrade. Honestly the red sea skimmer is not great to begin with and if you plan on a medium to heavy bio-load your going to want more then what it can handle.

What do you want to keep in the tank? What lights and chiller did you get? Best of luck!

Thanks for the input... When I bought the tank, I didn't even know it had a protein skimmer :eek2: So to find it was a surprise. I've been eyeballing the ASM G3 for my new one. The problem is that I want a sump, but the stand is too short to mount the sump with the protein skimmer. Any ideas? As for light, I bought a Current 60" w/ 2x250 HQI's. I'm hoping this will be enough, otherwise it'll be a combonation of pendants.
As for my chiller, I went with another Current product, the 1/4hp 2645 I think. I'm extremely excited, and I want to make sure and do things the right way first, instead of kicking myself in the future :D

As far as corals, I'd like to get an array of specimens, not really leaning towards any one specific region. I really like contrasting colors including clams, zoos, SPS, etc. As for fish, I haven't really narrowed it down, except for one definite, a powder blue tang. Otherwise, I'd like to move my other livestock over and I'm always open to suggestions
