My 1st 180 RR Project, Cust Built stand/canopy Tunzes etc..

dude I am feeling sooo sorry for you right now. I am glad I am were I am right now. not putting a dime into it. got 600 gallons of salt in the garage and thats that.
 
Feeling sorry????? Why??? Its not like I dont want to do this, actually I wanted to build something again and alot of the wood I already have from the other stands. So I dont mind :)
 
been there done that . tomorrow is not today ;) just because your dumping money into it. not like your not supposed to. I was were you are now before more than once. just a butt load of money.
 
LOL I hear ya BUT believe it or not I only paid 50 beans for the WHOLE setup lights pumps sump tank!!!! And I had the 2x4s already and the plumbing all came with it, I just tweeked it to not sound like a running toilet bowl :D
 
LOL ohh man, I would LOVE to or at least have ya corals and fish and other things!!! Are ya serious going to sell or just blowing off steam?? :D
 
today I would sell it but the miss's won't let me. could be stress related with all the work and I don't have enough time to really take care of it. and it's costing me a butt load. I need to get the corals growing and stop adding things so I can sell frags and let it pay for itself.
 
so how are the acro's doing in your tank? you know I had to change my bulbs already? 6 months be ready. another thing is the liars manufacturing things claiming life spans 4 times reality. a bunch of crooks around these days for sure.
 
My Acros are doing great, great P.E. and color. There not growing as fast as I would like em but there good. Thats crazy that ya had to replace all them already. So theres no difference in Ice Cap and the Advance ballast ?I guess as far as life span, than if thats the case Id rather have the Ice Cap cause they run em at higher wattage...Welp Im done changing my lights so what I have is staying!!!!!Lol :D
 
well the bulbs were still working just really pink and I think I need to chalk my troubles up to switching over to instant ocean. then again the nasty bulbs may have also been a factor. too hard to tell that is for sure. I think I got an extra month out of the advance ballasts before color shifting.
what makes you think you need higher wattage or more useable light? keep your water clean and lower light will do alot.
 
Hey everyone the tanks up for sale!!!! Im going to do a 90 instead, too much for me with work and all !!!! Im gonna build another crazy one, so keep posted on a build, Im going to document this one alittle better so some people can see better of how I will build it....And hopefully thatll help someone...check out the thread below for my tank for sale!!!!

Stand and Canopy are the only things left, Im selling it for 1700 OBO.

This thread has been burried for a long time, time to bring it back to the top! !!!!!:D
