My 1st nano tank setup *pics*

I bought an AquaStart bowfront nano tank (28L or 7.4g) yesterday for $65 Canadian. :eek1:

When I did a water test I realized that a Maxijet 1200 was WAY too much flow for this size tank so I picked up a Minijet 606 that is adjustable from (82gph - 153gph).

I am always obsessed about having a "clean look" so I decided to get a sheet of 3/8" thick black acrylic to hide all the equipment. I cut six 1/4" teeth with a router to act as an overflow.

I ordered a 1/2" bulkead with matching loc line to connect the Minijet as a return.

If anyone has any suggestions on other things I shoud do let me know. :)

Cool, what are you plans for lighting and stocking?

--Also, are there any local (Quebec/Ontario) suppliers of loc-line, or just online?

The locline and bulkhead I got online from JL Aquatics in B.C.

I am looking into the Aqua Medic Ocean 150w MH Pendant and then ditch this stock hood.

Good call with the metal halide. I'm ordering in the next few days a ballast from JL, I'll grab some loc-line too. Thanks.
