I usually place a smaller order with a company, to see how they handle
that order before placing a larger order. I normally deal with a large vendor
on the west coast but was looking for someone closer to deal with.
I placed an order last week for some frag plugs and T-5 bulb ends
(I even paid priority as I wanted them in quicker).
The order came in and the frag plugs were the wrong size,
(smaller ones not the larger as I had ordered). I send an e-mail
and did not get a response, so I called the next day.
I explained the mix up, (that I was sent the wrong item) and that
the website looks to have the same stock number for both items.
The rep on the phone starts going on how it is a heavy item to ship back,
and asked if I just want that one for half price? No, I want what I ordered.
I finally just told the guy look this was my 1st order with your
company and to just forget about it, and Goodbye and then I hung up.
He calls back a few minutes later saying the right one are
shipping and they are sending a return label for the wrong ones.
I'm a bit disappointed because now I'm still waiting for the correct frag plugs
to come in. But what bugs me is that I now have to go to the post office
to send back the wrong ones since I have no other way to send back a box
other than going to the post office,
What really turned me off was the rep complaining about the cost of shipping them.
I wanted to pass this along so you can speak with your reps.
