My 1st order I'm not very impressed

I usually place a smaller order with a company, to see how they handle
that order before placing a larger order. I normally deal with a large vendor
on the west coast but was looking for someone closer to deal with.

I placed an order last week for some frag plugs and T-5 bulb ends
(I even paid priority as I wanted them in quicker).

The order came in and the frag plugs were the wrong size,
(smaller ones not the larger as I had ordered). I send an e-mail
and did not get a response, so I called the next day.

I explained the mix up, (that I was sent the wrong item) and that
the website looks to have the same stock number for both items.

The rep on the phone starts going on how it is a heavy item to ship back,
and asked if I just want that one for half price? No, I want what I ordered.

I finally just told the guy look this was my 1st order with your
company and to just forget about it, and Goodbye and then I hung up.

He calls back a few minutes later saying the right one are
shipping and they are sending a return label for the wrong ones.

I'm a bit disappointed because now I'm still waiting for the correct frag plugs
to come in. But what bugs me is that I now have to go to the post office
to send back the wrong ones since I have no other way to send back a box
other than going to the post office,

What really turned me off was the rep complaining about the cost of shipping them.

I wanted to pass this along so you can speak with your reps.

Same BS happened to me too. I did one order for T5 bulbs a year ago and no notification, email or phone call to tell me the item on their site that was "in stock" was backordered. I had to learn this when my much awaited package arrived, I open the package and get a hand written note in sloppy writing "_____ T5 out of stock, will ship as soon as available".

Talk about disappointment. I haven't and won't do business with them again. I come around this forum about once a month just to read the horror stories from people.

I just received the replacement frag plugs of the correct size.
(Thank you for shipping them out in the same manner as the original order.)

There was not a return label included with the replacement plugs.
Was the lack of an return label an oversight or am I just to keep the original ones?

Thank you

I'd like to give then the benefit of the doubt, I am not angry in the least.
I was just disappointed, although it appears they have made it right by me.

The new plugs are the correct ones and they did send them out right away.

Harry Y,
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it very much.
Once again, I would like to apologize for the mistake that we made when shipping your order. We will take proper steps to improve our service both in filling of orders and handling of customer's phone calls.

Albert, Thank You for the nice phone call.

I truly appreciate you taking care of this
quickly and thank you again for the frag plugs.

(they were nice enough to let me keep the incorrect ones).

I just wanted to make sure everyone know they made it right by me :)

glad everything worked out. i have ordered from them 2x in the past, and both times were great. i plan to order a vortech mp40 from them this week. hopefully they wont screw it up. :spin2:

Sign of a good company is not whether or not they're 100% perfect all the time, but how they handle problems when they arise.

Looks like aquacave did right :)

This happened to me when I was giving them my first order. I decided not to give them the business. They have bad customer service and only provide solutions after they give you the run around and complain.

I'm glad you are happy with the results.
