my 20 gallon reef setup

Ive been a freshwater geek for years and I feel like there is nothing more I can learn with freshwater so I decided to go salt and on top of that reef lol...I wanted to start small to see if Icould keep corals alive so Iim starting with a 20 gallon that will be upgraded to bigger n better...I have a cpr bakpak 2r+ hob skimmer, an aquaclear30 with phos zorb in it, onyx rapisled lighting system...as far as coral I have about 20 to 30 frags with maybe 1 or 2 colonies ranginf from zoas lps and sps...when I learn how to post pics from my phone I will definetly post some...happy reefing
 
Thanks C...im going to be taking my frags off plugs today and place them on rocks, I have about 10 to 15 frags that need to be placed...ill get on the computer rather than my phone and post a before and after pic...

the only way i was able to do it is by downloading the photobucket app then uploading them there and then posting the link here. Nice to meet you Adam and welcome to the club. woodnaquanut does not know the handshake we still have not taught it to him lol.
 
You got some nice stuff there adam. Welcome to the club btw. My name is Robert but the club already has one of those, so you can take your pick on calling me rob, bob or the name my family calls me Bert.

Lokii that was one of my first corals sold to me as a frogspawn...its spliting right now as we speak...its really cool to see one mouth turn into 2...

I have a few more corals hidden behind rocks and what not but I need more lol

Nice setup Adam. Is that the first Onyx your running and what lens? I used two of those now on a frag tank that I'm debating on breaking down. Great fixture! Where are you located also? Look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
 
Yes my first led light ever its the 80° with a dimmable controller...id have to look at the box if you want more info on it...since its only a 20 I have 3 knobs on the lowest setting hooked up to a timer that runs 10 hours a day
 
Welcome to the addiction.. Great job on the tank looks like it will grow into being a great reef..

You won't regret being part of this club it's a great group of guys and a wealth of knowledge.. I travel a long way to participate within the club and I see no change on my part.. This is my first experience with a reef club in the 13+ years I've been reefing and I wish I knew about these guys a long time ago.. So again welcome and look forward to meeting a new reefer..

I'm slowly moving up the totem pole of new members lol.. Still a newbie but at least I don't get the best downs anymore =)..
 
Thanks Lokii and yes it is an addiction lol...everyone here seems cool and I appreciate all the warm welcomes...I really wanted to join a club since I first heard they have clubs...
