I don't have any experience with the cross flow wavemakers. I use regular Jebao pumps. I'm sure someone will chime in though. It’s a Hygger cross flow wave pump HG070 - 12 W and thank you in advance!!
The new one is but I don’t think the old one is. It’s just got an outlet plug and a on / off switch. I’ve got it set on classic wave pulse mode now and set to 45%.Are they capable of syncing with one as master and the other slave? If so, I’d say run them in classic wave maker mode mounted at opposite ends of the tank. When one turns on, the other turns off.
Sounds like you’ve got a lot of experience with wave maker placement and settings. I bet it does make you tank a killer eye attraction with how you’ve got your flow if you have a bunch of coral in thereI actually changed my flow pattern recently to something far more old school, and I’m loving the results. I don’t have the gyre style pumps, mind you. My pumps are facing directly towards each other from opposite ends of the tank. Rather than syncing them, they operate independently and are set to random flow.
That’s how I have my Jebaos set up.Are they capable of syncing with one as master and the other slave? If so, I’d say run them in classic wave maker mode mounted at opposite ends of the tank. When one turns on, the other turns off.
