My 20g Long Budget Nano

Yeah I got some star polyps In a diff tank waiting to go in. There are a couple small polyp frags in there that you cant see in the pics. I don't want to risk anything expensive yet (only been running for a mo. no cycle)

Looking really good. You should cover the back though. It would make things look so much nicer. A black background on your tank would look good.

Yep I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure what would be a good thing to use though. Black felt maybe? But it would get wet and crusty. Black plastic bag? Black sheet of acrilyc?

On my first 10g nano, I painted the back after the fact (not thinking ahead). You can buy a flat black pain by Rustoleum for a few bucks and paint it on with one of those sponge brushes. Wait for it to dry and then do a second coat. It may not look great from the back, but from the front you can't tell. I think that paint is definately the way to go!!

haha yea. I painted mine before hand. That bad thing with yours is you will have to paint it with a brush rather than a can of spraypaint. haha

i am setting up a 20L for a pair on rodonyx clowns that i have ot have started it as a frag growout tank now i am geting more serious i think i will paint it soon

It's a 30" coralife twin tube. Got it for $100 from my LFS that was remodeling.

Anybody know what the all black snail guy is in the 6th pic with the six line wrasse. I've seen 2 in my tank not sure if I should keep or kill....

My 10 gal used to be the king of the ghetto rigged set ups, my sump was on top of my tank cause I didnt want to drill my tank and it would drain down into the main. And It leaked alot.

cant say i have ever seen a snail like that. All black? I wouldnt guess it would be too good... but, what do i know.

Nice looking tank, Paint would be the way to go you can use arcyclic paint and just put a lacquor coat over it to seal it.

Is it normal for snails to be humping each other all day for a week?
