Thanks. well right now i'm building my auto top off gotta find a black backing for the tank. Replacing the MJ600 with a Maxi Mod and getting the heater set in the HOB fuge filter. Then on Monday if my cousin is back i'll be getting 2 mis bar clown fish. the rock and tank has been cycled down in the basement for some time now i was just building up the stand for a bit (info just so you dont think i am dumping them into a fresh tank...lol). building my light hanger will be next and then ready for a possum wrasse and a pair of harlequin shrimp. Probibly before that i'll be stopping over Nate, Adam's, Dave's and Jerry's to find some softies and one or 2 LPS that i like and want in the tank. The center piece, fingers crossed will be a Tyree Green Polyped Sarcophyton, hopefully it'll like the tank.

sounds like it'll be a pretty cool tank. What lighting are you going to run? I really like the scape as well. Looks nice and simple, and very open which will be good for softies.

the lighting is a sunblaze 4x24watt t-5 fixture. thanks I really like the defying gravity look so i might try and change it before the corals get in there.

Looks good Vince! We really need to meet up so I can grab that powerbrite from you. Looks like you could give me a hand restacking my solana too. Haha

Looking good Vince. I like the rock work to. Change it??? Putting it on that wall is the perfect as well.

yea i changed it, made the arch taller. ill take a pic of it later. that wall was the wifes idea, i liked the opposite wall..oh well..lol..

Thanks yea i still need to paint the braket, but i wanted to get it up and running. I actually just got off the phone and im going to pick up a pair of mis bar clowns tonight from Kelly's cousin. Yea I was thinking about painting the back but it is just so easy to put that plastic backing up...lol...

Dave Pirc you gotta change your sig, the 150 has corals that are growing so its not FO...lol...

Looking good vince! That looks cool how you have the light hanging there and the stand looks great as well. That's gonna be a sweet tank!!

Nice looking. I like the substrate color. What is that mixed with? Also think the rock stack thats over hanging is cool looking. Good job..

Vince, did you use a set screw 90 on a straight riser, then just a bent 90 to get it out over the tank? If so, you will definitely want to drill the 90 all the way through, and run a bolt through the fitting, with a nut on the other side and lock washers. It doesn't take a whole lot of strain for the set screw fittings to start loosening up, and I'd hate to see you get everything painted and have you light start sagging towards the left side of the tank. If not a thru-bolt, you could drill a couple smaller holes in the 90 fitting, and then run self tapping screws through the conduit. Or..................get that bender back and do a back-to-back 90 all in one piece of conduit.

Sorry man I don't mean to scare you but just would hate to see that start sagging after a while and having to be messed with after it's painted.

Thank you for your concern Jim. I did drilled holes and put screws strait the conduit to keep the top from twisting or coming out. we tried to do 90 to 90 but it is too close going opposite ways and we couldn't get it to bend right :(. But this way worked just fine.

i told you the black would look cool in there...need to borrow my camera for pics of the misbars? lol
david be quiet :)
