Upgrading from a 55

Any ideas/suggestions for what you see in the pics? preparing stand and canopy to be sanded and stained.

New color of stand canopy

4 inch sand bed and a little aquascaping...only about 120 pounds of cured live rock for now.

Thanks guys. I would like some opinions. This is my first large tank. My tank hit 81.2 degrees today and it was a high of 78 outside today. Its setup in my basement so I was hoping I didn't need a chiller. I may try some fans first. Little help here if anyone has some experience with this.

Is the back of your hood sealed? I put a board on the back of my tank and put two of these fans on it pulling the hot air out. It dropped my temp a few degrees and keeps all the moisture out of my hood only on half speed.

I wouldn't be overly concerned with 81.5 I run most tanks at a constant 80, but consistency is key.

Good start, looking to be a great build.

I've been adding about 2 fish a week

Blond Naso follows me when I'm cleaning. He showed no signs of being shy from the first minute I put him in display. He must be happy to get out of LFS frag tank.
