My 240 gal reef tankbuild

After reading many forums and watching Reef tanks come alive...It was time to get back into a passion I have had for many years. I started off with a 55 gal reef tank then moved on to a 125 gal tank. Then the kiddos came along which absorbed all my time. So I have been out of the "Tanks" for many years. Now the kiddos are getting older it was time to sneak my way back into it again. I have always wanted to have a "built in reef tank" Also the bigger the better right? There is where my challenged started. After a little persuading with my wife (Kiddos were on my side) we won! HeHe... My wife and I were in Mexico last October doing some snorkeling and the rest is history as they say. So we currently have a 75 gal reef tank setup which is full of fish, SPS,LPS etc. It is max out...We need room to grow! So my day started at 3am to head to Rochester, MN to pick up my new baby.

Please feel free to give any ideas or input for my build. All ideas welcome!
So here is the run down on the hardware that will be on the 240 gal.

All glass 60" x 36" x 25" - Starphire 3 sides w/ dual overflows
75 gal refugium sump with (3) filter socks with auto top off system.
(3) 250 watt halide,(2) 65 watt, (2) 96 watt PWR compact with 8 LED moon lights
(2) Reef Brite 60" LED strip light (Blue)
My reef creations CR-2 dual calcium reactor
NextReef MR1 XL Media reactor / phosphate
RLSS R8-I Protein skimmer w/ DC5000
300 watt heater
Corallife 1 hp chiller
Complete RO/DI system plumbed for water changes. Turn a few valves and boom...water is done....bye..bye homer buckets!
Wish list (2) (Vortech MP-40)

This the main items. Still need to get a return pump from my sump. Any thoughts?
So here some pictures of the progress.....

I am really digging your framed in tank! I am doing something similar in my build thread, but I only have two sides visible. Congrats so far! I will be running 4 MP40's on my 270, but it's a little overkill. I like the idea of running them less than full speed, keeps the noise down a little. I haven't run MH's, so I can't speak for the heat they throw off, but do you think one 300w heater is enough? Wouldn't you want two just for a little redundancy?

Cheers!
Scott

I agree one heater is a probably not the best idea. I picked up another heater for a backup. Thanks!

Got my live rock this weekend and excited to start some aquascaping! Also we got to try our the RO plumbing going to the tank. All I can say is Sweet! No more carrying buckets! Still working on figuring our how to post pictures.
