Great tank, great pictures. I've kicking tires forever on purchasing a macro lens, what is yours? Something like this 100/2.8 Macro USM Lens? They can get pretty spendy for a really limited use lens, hence my always just thinking about it attitude.

Well I have decided to make the move towards the LEDS... The new Radion G3 pros. My tank overall dimensions is 60"x36"x24". I planned on installing (2) of these guys with the 120 deg lens. Need some input if you feel two of these will be enough or should I add a third down the road. My tank is primary SPS. Some LPS also. Also looking for your comments on how you like your pros if you have them. My lighting has been (3) 250watt MH with the Phoenix 14000k and PC blubs (2) 96watt & (2) 65watt.
Thanks for you input!

:bounce1:Wow I am eager to hear the comments on the LED. Your tank is amazingggggggg. You are such an inspiration. I am about to buy my next tank 240 (72x30x25) and have been reading everything I can about it. I wish I had a room like yours for the tank. But I don't. I love to know how the transition to LED went. I am about to get these exact same lights for my new tank and really would love to hear from you:-). lovely tank. Congratulations;-)

Hi Luamada....
Thank you for your kind words. The tank has been a incredible experience!
I absolutely love the G3 pro's. The tank has acclimating great so far to the lights. I have been running thru them a 5 week period at 70%. I was hoping the 2 lights with the wide lens (TIR 120 deg) would get me the coverage. Which is does a nice job at 12" above the water. With my current corals being mostly SPS....I decided to add a 3rd light to the tank. It fills all the areas entirely. Here's some pictures before I added the 3rd light. Keep in mind the lights are only running at about 40%. They will ramp up to 70% when completed. :-)

So I have (3) G3 Radions pros. I have a Apex system also. Looking for some input on either I go with the Reeflink or use the WXM.
Either way I want to be able to control remotely. Just not sure which has more benefits for operation.
Thanks!

IMO, get the WXM. It does the same thing the reeflink for less $$.

The aqua scape was actually very easy to do. The tank is 36" deep front to back with lots of room to work inside. My tank is open on top and works well with the wrasses. :-)
