Just wanted to share some pix of my cube. Just discovered the wonders limewater can do and the coralline growth has really taken off on the LR and started to show up other places. Just installed (2) 14w 18k T8 lights as well into the hood.

What kind of nanocube is that? I'm taking down my 75G but don't want to give up my RBTA and maroon clown, so I was thinking of going nano.

Thanks.

that is a JBJ 24g nanocube. The fan in the hood is a mod I did in a desperate attempt to get the temp down this past summer. Great mod that i got off RC along with the refium in the rear. I really wanted to put a MH under the hood but didn't want to deal with the heat issues. I think the additional lamps will really help out for the tennants twards the rear of the tank(green star pol. has reall been looking light starved)

in the pic from the top w/ the lid open, you can see the fuge. following others whom have done the same here on RC, I removed the black "wallpaper" covering chamber #2. Built a plexiglass housing and painted it to contain the light from spilling out and fixed a 15w pc light to the inside of it. It runs on a reverse cycle from that of the main tank and is filled 1/2 with LR and a small ball of cheto. the 1st chamber is also loaded with LR with the stock foam cut in half in order to catch any large debri that enters the sump. The amount of pods that my tank now has is simply amazing. I would recomend this mod strongly to anyone. Would have liked to put the fuge light in the hood but I have other plans for that area(chiller) in the future. because of this, I do have to clean of the glass on the inside every so often.
