I'm getting the "renamed or deleted by owner" message, too. Check your access permissions to make sure it is viewable by the public.

Your mandarin lives almost exclusively on pods so if he is fat and happy I would say they are getting into your display tank just fine.

I don't understand why you would think you need to control the pod population. The more the merrier. They are cleaning up your tank/sump/refugium for you. There is no need to control them, as the more there are the more natural fish food your system is generating automatically.

That's a good thing.

Yes.. I have hundreds if not thousands of pods. They are very beneficial to overall health. Think of them as the scavengers of the tank.

I'm not really trying to control them. I have never seen so many I thought it was pretty cool. There are also thousands of tiny white snails in both the DT and refugium. Nothing like a free clean up crew

How certain are you they are mysid shrimp?
Could they be cleaner shrimp?

I am about 100% sure they are mysids. I wish they were cleaners I would take a bucketful to my local LFS. The population seems to be flourishing. I can't help but wonder what they are eating
