My 26g Bow with PIC'S!!!!!

Well I would like to share my tank, so here goes.

It’s a AGA 26g Bowfront w/ a 10g diy sump. I had a 55g FOWLR for 4 years and had to move it cuz I installed hardwood flooring through my house. Then I got to thinking I want to go reef and have always loved the look of the bow front tanks. so I down sized to my 26 that I am showing.
Tank is lit by 4x 65watt pc 2 are 10k 1 is 20k and 1 is 50/50 split 10k/attinic03.

yes and no. i want to get my feet wet with reefs without the huge investment. i am currently planning a 175g bow for spring 2007. i didnt just want to jump into reefing with a $3000 investment. but yea i miss more volume!!!

175 bow? That's is a sweet tank. I have a 92 gal bow and i like it a lot, even though it has its disadvantages.

So what other corals do you plan to add to the 26 gal?

3 out of 4 are coralife and the 20k is Catalina Compacts

that's a very nice tank :beer: I have a 26g bow too, but it doesn't look half as nice as yours, but it's still a work in progress. how did you get 4 bulbs to fit on your 26? the only thing i could find (PC's) to fit were a 2x65 24" fixture. also, if you don't mind, i could use some tips on how to build a sump like yours.

hi, lights are pc by coralife its 48 inch retro that i cut the reflecter at 24'' and mounted on the bottom of a 16-18'' (one or the outher) metal closet shelving. it pivits on the wall at the back of shelf it works good and easy to swing up for mant. on tank. looks good to its painted wight and vents good cuz its wire type from lows or home depot.
