My 2g tank

LynusAnn, I just don't know yet. I may end up moving Casper later. For now, this seems like a great spot.

InsaneClownFish.

melev, you're really starting to scare me, I'm afraid I'm gonna log on later and see a bamboo shark in there.
Why don't you setup a 150gal rubbermaid for a sump??

Casper looks awesome in that tank! My only thought is that I have read that they are messy eaters and need to be fed daily....a lot, any concerns about the bio load with him?

Because my kitchen doesn't have room for that. ;)

No, I bet he's just to proud to tell us the real reason. His reef obsession has brought him to the brink of bankruptcy. Every dollar he gets from his job stripping he runs right down to his dealer at the LFS to get his fix. I'm telling you now Marc, I've seen a lot of strippers in my day (not male ;) ) and it is a road to addiction and destitution. Get help. Now.

:D

Good news. Casper ate today. He seems to only like Hikari frozen mysis, but he loves that. I'll need to buy a pack. How often do you guys feed your seahorses?

The full tank. Not the best shot as I didn't get the tripod.

Marc they need to be fed daily. 2 smaller feedings are better but some people can only do that on their days off. You could put a supply of SW ghost shrimp in the tank for him to munch during the day, they will also help clean up some of his leftovers. Also if you can suck some amphipods out of your sump regularly he will eat those too.

Wow, amazing! I may have to dedicate one of my nanos in my new setup to the same inhabitants as yours (zoos and clams, haven't researched the horses). Truly inspiring.

if he's still really small (which by the looks of it he is) you can hatch BBS shrimp to feed him. Adult BS have no nutritional value to horses though...just like junkfood basically...and copepods definitely. My horses all spend all day nosing in and around cracks of the rocks for those guys, but you'd have to add them almost daily b/c my horses depleted my pod population in nearly a week and a half..and they're in a 45gal hex...My concern is that if it is an H. Reidi, he'll outgrow that tank before long. swimming space-wise..they're supposed to have 2-3 times the height of their uncurled bodies for a tank.

Yes, I just read that today. He didn't seem to have any interest in BBS, and this is the second day in a row I tried.

hmm...SW ghost shrimp would be my next suggestion...gut load them w/ something like cyclopeeze first though...unless your pony likes pods..in which case...a cheaper route to go if you can syphon some out of another sump
