My 3 Dispar Anthias (Image intensive).

Just thought I would share some pictures of my Dispar Trio with you all. I only had what looked like a Male in the tank at first, and added the two female about a month ago. Adding the two females seemed to speed up the F-M transition process.

I'd say that the Male seems to flash about 80% of the time.

I am still thinking about adding other Anthias. I have two Randal's Anthias on hold for me now, and they are already eating. I am hoping that they are both females.

Feel free to ask any questions.

looks good....i have barletts, lyretails and a couple sunbursts. Maybe i should add a few dispars as well.

Is it possible you have flames and not dispars? I am so confused about these fish- - here's a photo FWIW

Hello John, let's see some pics of your Anthias. I'd love to see them.

Their daily feeding is Ocean Nutrition flakes. I alternate the spirulina (green container) and the other one (purple container) throughout the day. I enjoy watching my fish eat, so I tend to feed them everytime I walk by the tank... and that is quite often.

OK Marie, thanks for confusing me now.

Hopefully someone can help us out here and pinpoint which Anthias I have. I know that H.Tanaka is quite the authority on Fairy and Flasher wrasses. I wonder if there is someone like that in the Anthias arena.

OK, so there goes fifteen minutes out of my limited life searching for something that doesn't exist.

Does anyone know anything about the Randal's Anthias? There doesn't seem to be much on them. I am supposed to pick up two of them later this week or next week.
