So I finally decided to go ahead and spend all the kids college funds on a tank, but since they are only 4 and 6 years old I might have time to refund their college funds by the time they need it
The system:
All glass aquarium.
Display tank: 84"L x 22"W x 24"H 192 Gallons
Sump: 48"L x 16"W x 14"H 65 Gallons
Fuge: 30"L x 20"W x 12"H 37 Gallons
Hardware so far:
3 Lumen Bright mini
3 coral vue Ballast 250W
3 Reeflux 12K
1 Reeflo Orca 200 Skimmer
1 PM 22"H x 4 Dia fluidizer reactor (for charcoal)
1 Phosban 150 (for phosphate)
1 DIY Coil denitrator.
1 100 G/Day 5 stage RO/DI from the Filters Guys Ocean reef + 1
1 Reeflo Snapper pump for the entire system.
1 Profilux controler with PH and temp probe
1 3 station dosing pump for automatic water change (2 gallons per day)
2 500 watts titanium heater
The profilux controller will be taking care of the ATO, water change, light and heating.
Here are some picts of this weekend efforts.
