Nothing yet, I am in Nitrogen cycle.......

I just noticed that in one of the pics you're using a hydrometer, i would recommend a refractometer as hydrometer can be way off.

Ya I have the refractometer, it's jsut to give a clue. When it's time to be precise I pull out the refrac...

no i mean what are you planning to get eventually?
That is not yet clear, all I know if the wife and kids weren't involved in the build but can't says the same with the fish list!!!
Unofficial request from familly member:
obvioulsy nemo and dorie from my daughters
and Juvenille emperor fish from the wife, but prolly won't get him not reef safe, unless you feed him every minute of the day. Last time I had one he eat my anemone.

Great Job! I wish I had plumbed my sump and return Dart pump into my garage as well. The pump is kinda loud and a little bothersome. This is going to be very nice!

I would suggest that you change your pump for Sequence reeflo, even where all my pump are I don't hear them at all...

My 2500GPH snapper is completely silent if you ask me....
The most annoying thing now in my setup is the 2 tunze 6100 in my tanks, the pulsating noise they make drives me nuts.... Looking for a solutions too that!

But your pump is in the garage, correct? My pump is in my stand. I did not know about the idea of adding a mousepad or maybe two, to reduce the vibration pf the pump. Everything has been running for 6+ months. I really don't have enough room to lift the pump up to place the mousepad underneath it. I would have to cut the PVC piping and adjust it, considering the pump is also plumbed to the sump. Any suggestions, let me know.

Nope my pump is one gyproc away from my living room. I would bet that if it was under my aquarium it would as silent as it is now...

Maybe this help.
Look at this picture you might see how i did mine.

Alos just to give a perspective of my setup.

My living room is just the other side, so there only a gyproc sheet between the living room and fish room and there no noise other those dam tunze in the tank!

I agree with the Tunze's the constant HMMMMM mmmmm HMMMMM mmmm drove me mad too, especially in a quiet house at night when you cant sleep!

Not sure of a solution really, I was using the rubbish mounting bracket assy but this time going to use the magnets, may make a difference, but dont really know what else you can do.

And checking parameters twice a day to be sure nothing get out off hand. Also trying to make 60 gallons of emergency water change if param get out off hand.
