I might have been wrong about the cyano, it might be simple algae.Originally posted by JaredWaites
The Cyanobacteria you have will in fact go away as soon as your tank matures a little more. If you have a high flow tank, it shouldn't take long at all.
So far I have change my mind about the double band tang, after researching it, it only looks good on that picture, anywhere else he is very plain looking. I am waiting on the arrival of the achille tang, should be somewhere around may 15, but not sure.Originally posted by kar93
Cool, When are you getting the tangs? I wouldnt worry about 5 NO3 but getting them down to 0 would be ideal. I imagine it is from you having to quickly put all the livestock in there, Is it staying or are you getting a new tank and taking them back?
That controller is really cool...Originally posted by saltyfishy123
Awesome buld!! Hows that controller working out for you?
Nothing is set in stone yet, but my LFS said that he may get the achille in small which is rare, and if they are small I might get 3 or 4 of them and that would be all for the tang familly.... But will see when they arrive.Originally posted by kar93
I think they are a great fish but we all have our opinions. You will love the Achilles, up to a few weeks ago had only seen them in pics and photos and when I finally saw one in person, they are so elegant and unique! Just one tip though.....Be prepared for ich im not saying it will definitely get it but they are a sensitive fish but I imagine you already know all this.
