My 300 Gallons system build thread....

No it is generated in an ozone generator.

Basic concept - high static charge applied to a wire or insulated plate, air passes over wire or between plates and becomes high charged, in doing so ozone is produced (bi product of oxidised air = ozone) the gas is then pushed or sucked out of the chamber or from between the plates.

Two types of designs on the market, wire induction - pros highly efficient, cons - wire oxidises in time can not be cleaned or replaced and wire either snaps or ozone production falls off

Static plate discharge - can be cleaned, does not wear out, cons - needs regular cleaning.

back to the thread now, any questions just pm me

Just go to find one, I can't order in the US, so I have to find one locally, also today I noticed that my tanks @ the office is not doing well, it's about to split open, so I might need to relocate my fish and coral home. I have to decide if i fix the tank or shut it down.

List of species @ office.
1 Bi-color angel 2"
2 Golden stripped maroon clownfish
1 mandarin
1 serientis
1 bubble tip
1 brain
1 crocea clam
1 Huge hermitt crab
1 Lobster (mia) but probably hidden somewhere under a rock.
some snail, 2 blue leg hermitt and other unknown stuff.

That tank is mature in every way, 7 continuous years of marine fish tanks, and the silicone and brace seem to have enought!

I would be perfect for your tank size, I think that my setup is too big to the doosing pump scenario for water change. But before you buy it, give me a call migth might sell it to you if I feel it's not adequate for my setup.

Ive just thought, if you go to your LFS then they maybe able to special order you an Achilles.
I just decided to move my office tanks will see how that goes and want to wait to see if my naso is going to make it. He is not eating as off yet, he nibble on the first night but never after that, so i'm abit concerned for him, and also adding the other fished will stress him. so will see.......

OK the transplantation is done, my office tank was really bad, there was a bow off ,5" on the front glass, the brace was broken and the silicone was peeling, I guess after 8 years it was due. Anyways all off this happened a bit too fast, I really wish that my tanks would have more mature before such a transfer and it probably going to stress my Naso like hell, but on the good side I just added 60 lbs of 8 years old live rock.

New specise list:
2 Golden Stripped Maroon Clownfish with their host Bubble tip anemone
1 Mandarine
1 Bi-Color Angel
2 Blue leg hermit crabe
1 Astrea snail
1 Lobster
1 Naso Blonde Male Tang
1 Brain
1 Mushroom
1 Anemone Serientis
1 Large hermitt crabe

Really hope the emergency transplant is a success, I am really stressed out!!!!!

:hmm1:

:eek1: :eek1:

The one eyed fish looks like some sort of damsel but im not sure on the actual name. How is the naso, was he getting agressive?
Do you think the Mandarin will have enough food? You got a name for the Naso yet? :)

Thanks mikes.

The unknown one eyed fish in my tanks is a "Female Japanese Swallowtail Angelfish" also known as "Spike".

No is not aggresive at all, actually he looks more shy than anything. The mandarin got plenty of food since my fuge was started month ago. And we haven't name the Naso yet.
