My 400g room divider system (photo essay)

The tank is doing fine. Haven't done anything interesting with it lately to report on. Been too busy. :(

Well, both in a way. My work scheduled has been effected by the hurricane disasters. But it was bad already anyway.

Greg, are you busy because of my hurricane issues, or is this more work-related?

Man, I must have been tired last night. I've never taken credit for creating hurricanes before. :lolspin: Please ignore "my" in that sentence, readers. ;)

Links to different sections in the thread, Greg you have way too much time on your hand. :D

Good info, I was surprised at the 20" depth. I ahve been considering a 28" high tank 3' front to back, also viewable on 3 sides. My current tank is only 20" high (viewable) & it just doesn't seem like enough

The title indicates 400g, but I did the calc on Garf site & I think it was mentioned in the thread as 300g?

Awesome Angel, I've had a few follow me while diving

Greg's tank is a bare bottom system, so he's not losing room to sand. I'm also running a 20" tank (in fact, my 225 is the same dimensions as his except 6' instead of 8'. If I was using sand I'd have gone at least 24", but going bare there's plenty of room.

Greg has a 100 gallon sump.

Dave, 400 gallon system 300 gallon tank.

Matt pegged the height issues right on. With a 3 foot width any higher wouldn't have been managable and really doesn't buy me anything.
