So here's a quick render. Still can't manage to get the paint to look glossy with the render engine I'm using, but this gives a pretty good Idea of how I envision the stand looking. I got a quote for my doors this morning - for 2 24.5x28" door blanks - unfinished - they want nearly 600 bucks! I may be sourcing the zebrawood ply and edge banding myself after all! I've seen a few companies that ship ply sheet, and there must be some local woodworking companies in SoCal that stock exotic panels.

For interior flow, I'll be using 2 MP40's - it will be fun playing with the controllers to set up some nice random flow.

edit: Oh, and I don't have an Eames chair - it's the only quick prop I could find that approximates my Ecornes chair!
