my $5 LTA update

well after about 5 monthes my anemone looks much better. I bought it at petco as a condy which I knew it wasn't but did know it was bleached but for $5 I had to try as I wanted an anemone that would stay on the sand and not harm my SPS. but here is a pic. of the anemone when I got it and a pic. of it now.

the recovery looks great, but you have yourself a beaded anemone. heteractis aurora.

oh wow for the longest time I thought it was a LTA but after looking up heteractis aurora the color sounds right along with the rest of the description. lol either way it is still an anemone that like the sandy bottom so I am still happy with it.

didn't even buy it for the clows as the clowns are already hoasting in my 1.25' leather lol

Definitely H. aurora. And congratulations, you did a splendid job of bringing that anemone back.

Ahhh....my favorite anemone (Aurora)....I picked up a big one of these 8 years ago and kept it for 3 years. He's in my Thumbnail..
